Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps April Digi Release Blog Hop

It is time for another Sweet `n Sassy Digi Challenge , but today we are mixing it up a bit....
The Sweet `n Sassy Digi Challenge ladies are bringing you a Fun Blog Hop for our April Digi Release!!
While you're hopping, be sure to leave some love on each of the blog hop posts…One of the ladies  is a mystery blogger and she will be picking a random winner from the comments on her blog post!!
The winning prize will be the whole April Digi Release!!
(The winner will be announced on Friday, April 27th.)

And now for today's challenge:
Make it Old
Use any distress/sponge techniques for your creation to look vintage/antique

I used the new Opal Owl digi, and printed it (large!) onto four different Basic Grey patterns, and then paper pieced it, using dimensionals !

I added a bit of Copic shading, coloured the yellow eyes and added a thick layer of glossy accents to the eyes to make them shine.

Edges of the floral paper were distressed, inked, and then machine stitched .

Inside of card says : "You'll OWLways be my friend - you know too much!!"

YOu should have arrived here from Makiko's blog, and now it is time to head to Stephanie S.'s blog to check out her "old" creation!

Just a few things to keep in mind as you play....
Please remember to use digital images ONLY for the challenge.
~You don't have to use SNS digi images to play along but we sure do love when you do!
~Please share a link to your creation using the Linky feature at the end of this post. If the link feature is down, please add a link with your comment.
~When uploading to online galleries, please use keyword SNSDC50.

And one last thing!…
Every card you enter into the SNSS challenges throughout March, you will get one entry to be eligible for winning 3 digis of your choice from the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps store. Plus, if your card has used SNSS digi stamps, it will be two entries!! Be sure to play along every week... The more you play and/or use SNSS digis, the more chances you get to win!!

Other Challenges Entered With This Card :

Catered Crop : Krafty

Totally Stampalicious : Paper Piecing

Digital Tuesday : Distressed
